Ingredients
  

  • 2 large croissants fresh bakery croissants work best
  • 4 slices thick-cut bacon or regular bacon
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 slices cheddar cheese or American, Swiss, or Gruyère
  • 1 tbsp butter for eggs
  • Salt & black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Step 1: Cook the Bacon

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Place bacon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes until crispy. Transfer to a paper towel to drain.

Step 2: Scramble the Eggs

  • Crack eggs into a bowl, whisk with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  • Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Pour in eggs, gently stirring with a spatula until softly set.

Step 3: Assemble the Croissants

  • Slice croissants in half horizontally.
  • Layer bottom halves with cheese, scrambled eggs, and bacon.
  • Close with the top halves.

Step 4: Melt the Cheese (Optional)

  • For extra gooeyness, place assembled croissants in the oven for 1-2 minutes until cheese melts.
